Sheath for parachuting individual equipment.

The individual bag-sheath EL 32 is a load shedding device with variable volume. It allows the paratrooper's operational load to be carried and the addition of various weapon scabbards.
Suspended from the harness and held against the legs during the start of the jump, the EL 32 sheath is unloadable and suspended from a 6 m unloading rope shortly before landing. On the ground, it is transportable on the back.
It is the main sheath of the individual parachute set (PPE).
Maximum content mass: 40 kg.
The EL32 sheath arrived in the forces at the beginning of the 80s (a priori in 1981) with the 4 triangular dice. Two years later, in 1983, AERAZUR offered a "simplification" with 2 delta AS77 quick links.
