US Army honorary streamer, consisting of a white silk band bearing the inscription "Combat Infantry Battalion" in blue embroidered letters. This unit distinction is awarded by the division, corps, or army commander if 65% of the unit's personnel have been awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge. The band is intended to display the unit's colors.
This type of streamer could also be awarded to a company (see illustration below).
